Wonderful experience to walk through the gardens beforehand and swimming next to the waterfall, but was truly impressed by the skill and passion of the Toa Luau family. I would recommend this to all visitors. Note that the tram to get back to the waterfall swimming hole is expensive (10 one way, 14 round trip), so walking is ideal if you’re willing and wanting to save some $. The lockers for your belongings while swimming is $5. I would recommend bringing sandals to get down to the water, it’s rocky from the lockers to the water, and then leave the sandals on the rocks until you’re ready to get out. There are restrooms, changing rooms, life jackets all available and free at the swimming hole.

We had a wonderful experience at the Toa Luau! It’s an intimate experience - about 100 people and every seat is a great seat as the reviews have said- we got the silver pass which is well worth it. Loved the cultural stations where we learned how to peel coconuts, shread coconuts, peel bananas and cook cocoa beans (which we got to have later as a delicious hot chocolate!!). The dancing was great and I especially loved the fire dancing! Would highly recommend. Great for people of any age to come and enjoy!

My husband and I went to this luau while visiting Oahu. We had a great time! The staff was very friendly and outgoing and made everyone feel comfortable! The performances were top notch and dinner was delicious.
