I was very disappointed with the route we took. When we went to sign up for the tour, the salesman selling the tickets said they were seeing alot of bears this morning. So we signed up. They took us 5 miles down the road and had us get out right off the side of the road to look at into the bay area to look for wild life. This was a busy road. There was no way wild life would enter the road. Then we were taken to another very shallow body of water only to maybe see some bears. This is the same area where the drivers of the tour buses live in trailers. Bears are not likely to walk into this area where there is so many people milling around. The bears are smarter then that. Right next to this area was a gift shop and a wood shop where they carve out totem poles. I asked the girl at the gift shop if we can expect to see any bears are Alaskan Wildlife. She said: " Not likely in this area in the middle of the day with hundreds of people walking around" I must say our tour guide was very nice and informative though. I felt misled. How do the owners of this company NOT know that it is likely you will NOT see any wildlife at these spots, and a lady working in the gift shop knows that it is not likely wildlife will frequent the area? Save your money.

Bruce gave my husband and I an amazing tour. He had tons of facts about the different things we saw on our tour. Would definitely recommend taking the tour with him!!

Do not waste your money. This is the worst rip off I've ever experienced. You will not see any wildlife and have to put up with a freezing dirty bus and stupid jokes. Just walk creek street and get back on the ship, there is nothing to see in Ketchikan!
