I loved that the tour took you through Downtown Lancaster and then into the county. Our tour guide was amazing. This is a small family owned tour company and you can see that in all the details of the tour. What impressed me is how passionate our guide is about Lancaster county and his experiences being raised here and in both the Amish and Mennonite communities. It made the experience more authentic. The Amish people we met were some of the most friendly, kind hearted and genuine people and I am so grateful that this wasn’t a tourist “fake” Amish experience! I think everyone should do this tour!

Phil was an amazing guide for Lancaster. As a lifelong resident and as a child having spent many years in Amish country he was able to give us a unique view of Lancaster and its rich history. I would highly recommend Phil and his company to anyone interested in seeing the true Beaty of all Lancaster has to offer.

There were numerous choices for our visit to Lancaster County, but I truly believe we chose the best tour available. Our tour guide, Phil, is a native of this area. He is friends with so many of the locals and knows the history of Lancaster. I was pleasantly surprised that our tour began walking the streets of downtown Lancaster. It was interesting to learn more about the local history. Of special interest was the lowest level of the new Marriott Hotel which includes the workings of Thaddeus Stevens and the Underground Railroad. We were only 30 miles from the Mason/Dixon Line so the area was quite a "hot spot" for this historical activity. The majority of our time was spent traveling the back roads of Amish country. Having grown up there, Phil knew exactly where to take us - beautiful farms, homes, bridges, and even a creamery where we enjoyed delicious ice cream. A highlight for me was his knowledge of Amish culture. We learned so much about this special group of people. It was definitely time well spent! Thanks Phil for a great excursion!!!
