We enjoyed the fact that our tour guide Mike took us on a walk around downtown. He shared historical information that we did not know originated in Lancaster. The drive thru the country side was enhanced by a beautiful sunny day. We stopped at a Creamery owned by an Amish family. The ice cream was really "creamy".

We started this tour with a brisk fall walk in the city of Lancaster with our tour host Mike. He was so knowledgeable about the area. The architecture of the buildings was explained in such detail. We rode out of the city into the beautiful countryside where the Amish culture was explained in great detail which was amazing. We visited an Amish dairy farm where they have a creamery so we enjoyed ice cream in a freshly made waffle cone. Delicious! If you are in the Lancaster area, donā€™t miss this tour.
