Aperçu

We begin with a walking tour of Lancaster City, where our knowledgable guides provide an overview of the rich and multifaceted history of our beautiful city. Next, we depart in our tour van to visit and experience the real and remote areas of Lancaster County that only locals know. Our guides are deeply connected to many Amish people here in the county and will provide a wealth of knowledge and information along the way. We'll make two stops at Amish properties, giving you an insight into their world, and some ice cream to top it off. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with Dale as he led us through Lancaster and then Amish country. We learned so much about the area and appreciated his "insider" perspective on the area. The tour exceeded our expectations - by far!

This was an excellent tour and our driver, Dale, was very impressive with his knowledge of the history of the Amish and of the Lancaster area as well as the history of Pennsylvania. I would prefer a larger vehicle but based on where we went a larger vehicle wouldn’t work. Our small bus was very clean and comfortable and appeared well maintained. My wife and I both highly recommend this trip.

We truly enjoyed the Lancaster experience with Mike as our guide. First half of the tour was walking downtown Lancaster showing us points of interest and the many kinds of architecture in the buildings nearby. Did a walk thru of central market that was worth checking back later to explore. Second half of the tour was in a van thru the countryside. Stopped at an Amish farm and creamery. I enjoyed the best ice cream treat. Mike was very knowledgeable and easygoing. We truly enjoyed our morning.

Thank you so much! We are happy to hear you enjoyed the different aspects of this experience. Many people come to Lancaster without ever exploring our city. We are always happy to show both the beautiful and historic downtown as well as the lovely countryside.
