Our Exclusive VIP whale watching tours are 2 hours long with a maximum of 12 guests. Our small groups make every seat a front row seat as you enjoy whale watching and educational talks from our marine naturalist onboard. Our inflatable rafting vessels are safe, travel quickly to find whales and a fun ride for the whole family.

See Humpback Whales that have traveled 3000 miles from Alaska to give birth and mate in the protected Maui Nui sanctuary off Lahaina where the waters are known for being warm and calm. On our whale watches we could travel anywhere from 2 to 10 miles from Lahaina, often encountering dolphins in addition to humpback whales. Guarantee whale sightings Dec-April, or go again for FREE!

We are locally owned and operated since 1982 and every ticket supports our participation in marine research projects and our role as certified first responders to whale entanglements.

We had an awesome tour with Jeremiah and Sara. It was very windy but we felt safe the entire time and we returned dry! We saw multiple whales and two sets of female whales with babies.

We went out on a choppy morning that turned beautiful. Captain Jeremiah and first mate Sarah took care of us and delivered a great tour. Funny, knowledgeable and respectful of the whales. The morning was incredible. We saw numerous whales and even had a mom and 2-3 day old baby come right up to the boat and float nearby and under us! The boat was low to the water so so we were able to get a really good look. Jeremiah was very respectful of the whales. And honestly part of the fun was watching how excited the captain and first mate were. An experience that we will treasure. Great pictures too!

Ultimate WWis always our first reservation when we come to Maui. Chasing whales in big rubber boats is ultimate fun. Caring captains and naturalists make sure whales are not bothered but guests get up close and learn! We saw breaches, moms and calves, competing males. So good we went the next day too. With Lahaina closed it was easy to park at Safeway and go from Mala boat ramp. We also went from Kaanapali beach and parked at Whalers village (charge). Have lunch beachfront after and get parking validated!! This is the greatest Maui experience. Can’t wait to go back! So glad UWW is up and running. Mahalo guys!!
