We had a great time on the ulimate/extended tour in Williamsburg. The tour guide, Jake was awesome! We did a different kind of tour earlier in the week and it wasn't very good. This tour was much better and glad we did it. Perfect way to end our last night in Williamsburg.

My wife and I were delighted to take this one and a half hour long walking tour of Colonial Williamsburg at night when there is hardly anyone around. We got the Ultimate Tour on a Monday night. It's not typically advertised for Monday night. There were only four of us on the tour, plus our guide Thomas and a guide in training. Thomas was excellent and I have to say I learned more about historical individuals on this tour than on the daytime history tours of Williamsburg I've taken in the past. The town looks amazing at night. As for ghosts, well, maybe they were there. We all did see a curtain moving in Bruton Parish church and there isn't supposed to be any ventilation in it. The grave monument to Judge Nathaniel Beverley Tucker, supposedly struck by lightning multiple times, is certainly spooky at night with the strange discolorations that evoke some creepy images. Tucker was a mentor to Edgar Allan Poe and some people claim to see a raven in the monument. We added a quick tour of some spots at the College of William & Mary; learning about the tunnels that run under the campus and about the crypt under the Wren Building was fascinating. Bottom line, you will enjoy seeing Colonial Williamsburg at midnight, you will learn some great historical tidbits about some past residents, and who knows? You might even see a ghost!

Thomas will be very happy to know that you had fun with him. I am glad that you enjoyed the tour and that you learned a lot--we strive to provide accurate and engaging stories that are fully backed by history and honest experiences. I'm glad that you also enjoyed the Extended tour around W&M. It has a fascinating history that even some of the students don't know about! We hope to see you again soon. Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a fantastic review!

This was a gift for Mother’s Day from my family. This was a Ghost Tour of Colonial Williamsburg and William and Mary’s College Grounds with Historic details and gruesome stories of the area. My husband and I enjoyed the 8:00pm on Saturday so much that we stayed for the 10:00pm extended with Thomas, our guide. Be prepared to walk. Comfortable shoes a must. Closed toe, preferably, since you may walk through fields. Bug spray for mosquitoes and noseeums. I’m also including two photos that surprised the heck out of me. Do you see what I see?
