Smoky Mountain Outdoors Upper Pigeon River Trip is a Tripadvisor Top 10 Experience with a Travelers' Choice award, and the closest whitewater rafting trip to the cities of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! No experience is needed, so all are welcome. Experience Class 3 to Class 4 whitewater rapids with a top-rafted rafting outfitter. This is the longest rafting trip on the Pigeon River, equipped with a guide in every raft.

Minimum age is 8 years old and minimum weight is 70 lbs (32 kg)
Swimsuits and shorts work best. Secure shoes with a heel-strap are required (tennis shoes, water shoes, sport sandals with a heel-strap). Bare feet and flip-flops are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel

i went rafting with my cross country team and we had a guide named Lee who was really funny and helped us to have a really great time rafting. we were really safe and i would 10/10 come back!

You have to do this if you are in the area. On a 2 week 3 city trip in America, this activity was the family's favourite by far. We bought all of the photos, all of which showed us all grinning continuously. Fun from start to finish.

The four of us had a great time - we highly recommend Smoky Mountain Outdoors rafting! We took our teenage daughter who is completely blind along with us - our guide Chris went out of his way to accommodate her and make sure she had a great time.
