No experience is needed, so all are welcome. Experience Class 3 to Class 4 whitewater rapids with a top-rafted rafting outfitter. This is the longest rafting trip on the Pigeon River, equipped with a guide in every raft.

Swimsuits and shorts work best. Secure shoes with a heel-strap are required (tennis shoes, water shoes, sport sandals with a heel-strap). Bare feet and flip-flops are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel

This was my first time white water rafting. I did travel on a canoe in rapids before. This is much better. I will never use a canoe again! Justine was our guide on boat 32 this past Saturday. She was great. She coached us when we needed coaching and sat back at the perfect times for our boat of 5 friends. We paid $40 each. It was the best money we spent on the trip. We were able to get out of the boat and float during calm water and drove hard through some cat 4 rapids. Water was 70 degrees. Perfect! Trip lasted around 1 1/2 hours. These rapids are not for poor swimmers, just in case you fall out. None of us did, but I would not have young swimmers on this set of rapids. They have a slower pace float available to younger guest. Book with this company. Great price, great guilde(ask for Justine) and paddle. If you don't paddle you will not have a good time. Paddle lillies make the trip suck. Don't be a paddle lilly! Paddly lillies are guest who just sit in the boat and do nothing. You know who you are!!!!!! You will end up going down weaker rapids based on your guests lack of effort. So, paddle or get out of my boat! They have a camera person taking photos while you go through a rough section. It was $40 for a digital copy of all of the pics. We did it. Half the photos were great! If you have a good guide, they will move guests in the boat so each can experience the front seat rush! And remember, it's all about the "U"! PS moonshine place next door is ok if you are in need of refreshment AFTER your trip.

What a wonderful experience. Eliza was excellent. She was very informative, and knew her way around the raft and the river. Can't wait to bring my whole family back.
