I am only awarding this tour one star because the bartender was great and the mini charcuterie board provided was great but the rest was a big zero. From the loud mouth, dirty looking concierge to the loud music to the solid rock wall to the sheer monotony of the tour. Let's face it the owner is making lots of money off this train, and rightly so, but in order for people to recommend it to others or want to come back a second time, he needs to invest more money. He needs to work out a way to add additional tracks or a switching station in order to turn that train around and give the other side of the train an equal viewing opportunity. My husband, grandkids and I viewed a rock wall for 4+ hours. The music was so loud, my 15 year old grandson commented on it. A kid who listens to loud music, all the time. My husband finally told the bartender who turned it down. I wouldn't recommend this tour to my worse enemy. This post will probably be answered by someone who works for the company with the comment "not to everyone's taste" Not good enough. It's a terrible way to spend 4.5 hours, and when people are trying to fall asleep to pass the time, but can't because of the music, it's not a good reflection on the tour. We are all working hard for our money and this tour cost $240 and it was a total waste. We have done a number of tours the last few days and every tour was wonderful, except this one. We went outside to the exterior viewing car a few times but the area was so crowded it made viewing impossible. I highly recommend you stay away from this tour.

Of course the person replying to this works for our company but we are also genuinely concerned when a review comes through with one star. If you would be able to take the time and send directly to me either the confirmation number, or the last name your reservation was booked under, I would appreciate the opportunity to provide a further informed reply. Thank you, Teresa Propeck - [email protected].

The staff was very helpful and service was really good. The views were beautiful. However, The inside cars were not cool enough and the ride was too long.

Not worth the time or the cost. I don't see what everyone is raving about. A slow train playing boomer train anthems for 4 HOURS!! All so that you can see a couple of mildly interesting scenes. No thank you...one and done for me. Would wholeheartedly not recommended lol.
