Blue Water Maui has several unique and innovative features that are exclusive experiences for our guests.

Unlike other tour companies, we don't advertise a destination because we want your experience to be as good as possible, so we pick the best locations with the best conditions for each day.

Blue Water Maui is the only snorkel tour on West Maui with a true SCUBA diving experience. No SNUBA or fake diving with us, just the real deal and led by the best Dive Instructors in Hawaii!

We are also the only tour operator on Maui with giant floating islands we attach to the boat. They can hold up to 17 people and are great for lounging after snorkeling, drift snorkeling for beginner swimmers, or just walking on water!

There's no soggy lunch wraps on a snorkel tour with Blue Water Maui! We only serve fresh chef prepared lunches, homemade banana bread and fresh fruit along with plenty of drinks.

We have taken a few boat tours over our 2 week stay on the islands, and this one was hands down the best one! Captain Mark was generous with his knowledge in educating us about the marine life and island culture, and co-captain Brian was helpful in getting us situated with snorkeling. And we saw TONS of whales and turtles! Veritable symphonies of them! We had a blast, and will definitely book them again on our next trip down to Hawaii.

Our family had an awesome morning out on the water with Blue Water Maui. We saw so many whales, and learned a lot about them. We enjoyed snorkeling around the bay, and our kids had a blast on the big blue mat. Captain Mark and Brian were so friendly, helpful, and informative. And the banana bread, fruit, and sandwiches were such a treat. My 6-yr old says her favorite part of our Hawaiian vacation was when the mama whale made us a rainbow and then her baby swam under our boat. Can't get bigger props than that!

Boat captains Mark and Brian were both extremely friendly and extremely knowledgable about the geography and wildlife of the local area. We saw humpback whales both on the way out to and on the way back from the snorkel/dive spot near Lanai. The crew of two went out of their way to make the trip comfortable, safe and thoroughly enjoyable. They also had a wicked sense of humour. There were only 11 passengers on the boat, which made for a very hands-on experience, with ample time for discussion and questions. My eldest son and I tried the Scuba introduction, which was fantastic. The sea was calm and the water very clear on the day we took the trip, so seeing the coral gardens and reef fish was spectacular. The safety instructions were very clear and Brian’s care and attention during the dive very obvious. Towards the end, we stopped again near the sunken pier just offshore from the boat ramp, where there were green turtles, reef sharks and lots more fish. A great way to wrap up the trip. Refreshments and food were plentiful, with a packed lunch box while moored off Lanai. Anyone looking for a fun, safe and relaxing way to enjoy a little of Maui’s ocean wonders need look no further than Blue Water Maui.
