We checked in at the Atlantis kiosk by the beach, then were directed to a dock where we had a photo taken and later boarded the boat that took us to the submarine. The boat has snacks and drinks for sale, with seating options inside and outside. Very windy outside but great views of Waikiki and the ocean. There is still a roof for shade at the top. They brought us to the submarine where we waited for the previous passengers to unload the sub. To get in, you need to go down a ladder. In the sub, each seat has a window in front of it. We went on a Tuesday at 12pm and it was only half full so we had more space and chances to move seats. I brought a light jacket because some reviews mentioned it got chilly, but i didn't need to use it at all. The captain was very friendly and informative. We got some great views of fish and a turtle hanging out by the sunken boats. Water was pretty clear but the loss of light as we go deeper does change the coloring a bit so the fish didn't look as vibrant or colorful as they really are. Either way, it was worth it, particularly if you're not into scuba diving or if you can't swim, this is an excellent way to see what's under the water! Once we got off the submarine and back on the boat, we had the chance to buy our photo taken at the beginning. They were actually pretty neat, a few different sizes and backgrounds, plus a digital download (that one I'm not sure if it's available for free even without purchase). It was even more windy. I started feeling a tiny bit of motion sickness on the way back, but not a problem inside the submarine. Overall great experience!

Very cool experience, first time in a submarine and I loved it! Got to see artificial reefs and sunken boats. Lots of fish and some sea turtles. Definitely a must see experience

Great experience super funny captain Q was awesome. Went there by myself beautiful day at sea. I’m claustrophobic and was still super enjoyable
