Johnson Square

We will learn about the beginning of Georgia and tour the original squares. Discuss the Colonial way of life churches, monuments and markers in this area as we journey into a timeline walk of the Historic District. Then our tour proceeds down Bull Street. The tour is one miles of walking and includes stops at Civil War homes, Cemetery, Theaters and famous movie locations.

My husband and I took the Savannah Belle walking tour today with Michelle. She was phenomenal! A huge wealth of historic knowledge of Savannah. We were very spoiled as the other group canceled so we had Michelle all to ourselves! Unbelievable tour guide. One of the best tours I have taken! Thank you Michelle.....

Michelle, the owner was very knowledgeable about the history of Savannah. She responded in a timely manner to phone calls. We began our first visit to Savannah with this tour and I would recommend this approach to others. It really gives you an understanding of the layout of the historic district. We got a great deal on Groupon for tickets.

I agree with all the positive reviews on this outstanding walking tour. Michelle is indeed a Savannah belle, born and raised! Her tour is done at an easy walking pace, filled with engaging historical events/facts sprinkled with amusing anecdotes. We loved this tour! No cheesy movie characters popping up, no bells clanging. Try to book your tour at the beginning of your Savannah stay, its a good way get a feel of the town and great for picking up ideas of what else to do during your stay.
