Johnson Square

We will learn about the beginning of Georgia and tour the original squares. Discuss the Colonial way of life churches, monuments and markers in this area as we journey into a timeline walk of the Historic District. Then our tour proceeds down Bull Street. The tour is one miles of walking and includes stops at Civil War homes, Cemetery, Theaters and famous movie locations.

I was in Savannah with family. We all like to know about the history of a city and this was perfect! Michelle was very entertaining and extremely knowledgeable. She gauged what we found interesting and kept feeding us information. Full of great facts. I highly recommend this walking tour to anyone who will be in Savannah.

Savannah is a charming town and Michelle did a good job of sharing it's history with us. It is obvious that she loves Savannah and by the end of her tour you will too. The tour covered a couple of miles over about 90 minutes, but Michelle allowed a few places for sitting in between and kept on schedule. I would recommended this tour for a good introduction to the city of Savannah. Also take a trip on the free water ferry and walk River Street.
