  • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • Weight Restrictions: Due to FAA regulations, all passengers must be weighed at check-in. For each single passenger weighing 240 pounds or more, combined weights of 420 lbs per couple, or for groups of 3 or more an average of 200lbs or more an additional seat must be purchased at the time of booking. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers. It is important to provide accurate body weight at checkout.
  • It is recommended that all passengers wear dark clothing to help have less reflection in the windows when flying and therefore you can get better photos during your tour
  • Flight routes & sights may vary due to weather.
  • Infants under 24 months must sit on an adult lap. PLEASE CONTACT US IF BRINGING AN INFANT. Over 24 months must occupy their own paid seat.
  • Please contact us for your check in and departure time at least 72 hours prior to your flight!
  • Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter
  • Helicopter is a shared cabin holding up to 6 passengers and one pilot.
  • All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Under representation of body weight may result in cancellation at check-in with no refund.
  • No bags allowed on board. This includes a purse, fanny pack, backpack, etc.

I bought 4 tickets for Air Maui Helicopter Tours through Costco. The Costco discount was excellent. When I made the reservations with Air Maui, I spoke with Kaai. She took my Costco information and scheduled our reservation. When we arrived in Maui and were ready to take the tour, I met with Kaai. She set us up for the tour and we were led out to the helicopter. Thanks Kaai for such great service and making the reservations so easy, We met our pilot, Dylan Dacus. This guy was AWESOME! Two of my guests were a little afraid of flying in a helicopter. Dylan made them at ease and they had a fantastic ride. Dylan took us to so many beautiful places that you can not see around Maui and Molokai without a helicopter. We were all so impressed with the tour. When you fly through the valleys and canyons, you feel so small compared to the 2 to 3 thousand foot canyon walls. Some many waterfalls!!! Dylan has so much knowledge of the area and does such a great job of explaining the area that is covered during the flight. One of my guests told me, after the flight, that was the most incredible thing they have ever experienced. Thanks Dylan for the AWESOME tour!! This is a MUST DO if you are going to Maui!!!

Our first visit to Maui was in May, a friend highly recommended a helicopter tour with Air Maui. This was our first helicopter tour ever and for that first experience to be in Maui, what else can I say?! Our pilot was wonderful, detailing the scenery and insuring that all passengers were getting the best views and having a great time. The waterfalls were amazing, the elephant rock, and so much more. We are planning a return trip to Maui in April and the first thing that is being booked... is a helicopter tour with Air Maui. In May we took the West Maui and Molokai tour, on our next trip we are planning to book one of the Hana and Haleakala cliffside landing tour. We continue to recommend Air Maui to all of our friends traveling to Maui.

It was hard to believe it was an hour. We saw fabulous areas available only by air. Captain Kirk was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend the trip. And get the video. Worth the cost.
