  • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • Weight Restrictions: Due to FAA regulations, all passengers must be weighed at check-in. For each single passenger weighing 240 pounds or more, combined weights of 420 lbs per couple, or for groups of 3 or more an average of 200lbs or more an additional seat must be purchased at the time of booking. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers. It is important to provide accurate body weight at checkout.
  • It is recommended that all passengers wear dark clothing to help have less reflection in the windows when flying and therefore you can get better photos during your tour
  • Flight routes & sights may vary due to weather.
  • Infants under 24 months must sit on an adult lap. PLEASE CONTACT US IF BRINGING AN INFANT. Over 24 months must occupy their own paid seat.
  • Please contact us for your check in and departure time at least 72 hours prior to your flight!
  • Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter
  • Helicopter is a shared cabin holding up to 6 passengers and one pilot.
  • All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Under representation of body weight may result in cancellation at check-in with no refund.
  • No bags allowed on board. This includes a purse, fanny pack, backpack, etc.

Our family loved our West Maui and Molokai tour. Captain Kirk put our kids at ease. Very knowledgeable and fun guide! Views of some of the valleys were beautiful. We also saw a few whales from the sky which was a highlight. Thanks to other Trip Advisor reviews, we learned about the Costco deals and purchased our tickets there. The video is worth buying but make sure you check out the audio quality (Kirk's voice was a bit muffled). Air Maui is a great choice. Next time... we may try doors off!

We choose Air Maui a day before we flew. We did a price match for Costco price around 200 per person. I think if you research, you might end up paying less around $150. We choose the west Maui and Molokai tour. Due to some reason I do not remember our 45 min tour was made to 60 min tour. We choose the back seats in the helicopter as front seats you will have to pay more. However back seats also do give you a good view of the island. They will recommend to wear dark clothing to avoid reflection in the windows. At the air Maui center you go through a safety video tutorial and may be a waiver form to be signed. When our turn came, we were seated as per the seats assigned and given a pair of headphones which is used to listen what pilot is narrating and you can ask a question to the pilot. Pilot played his playlist throughout the tour which matched with the background to get a surreal feeling as we are in some place out of the world eg Playing Time from the movie inception when watching the waterfall in west Maui mountains. The tour covered the west Maui mountains, we went quite deep inside to see the waterfalls, cliffs of Molokai, rugged blueish beaches which are not good to dock the boats, coral reefs etc. Me and wife are very pleased we took the helicopter tour to see the magical place Hawaii-Maui offers from aerial view. I would recommend anyone to do a helicopter tour, it’s an out of the world experience. I would recommend Air Maui highly.

Captain Kirk is awesome. A reflection of everyone at Air Maui. A great experience from beginning to end. Captain Kirk is a great pilot with an easy going commentary, funny interaction with his passengers and insightful stories on the history of the places we flew over. Can't wait for our next adventure with Air Maui Helicopter Tours.
