This tour was fantastic! We flew with Pilot/Captain Kirk. From start to finish we felt safe, as the employees show you a safety video, then walk you out to the helicopter in a single file line and call you one by one to show you your seat assignment. Pilot Kirk was very professional and highly personable. From the moment we entered the helicopter he explained when we would be leaving, as there was a bit of air traffic that day. Then once up in the air he explained everything that we were seeing and flying over, and included a few bits of Hawaiian history. Flying over Molokai was outrageous. The lush valleys were awe inspiring, but the waterfalls were insanely gorgeous. The description of this tour says that you will see waterfalls that are inaccessible by land and they do not exaggerate! We actually flew into the deepest part of the volcano (lush and green--unlike the desert-like Haleakala), and seeing those ridges and peaks up close was a truly amazing sight.
The hangar was very modern and clean. The woman who checked me in was very friendly, all of the staff members were very personable and professional. This truly was an amazing experience. This trip cost about $1000 for a family of 4. They do have a video of your flight that you can purchase after you land. It is narrated by your pilot and probably has all the awesome music that was played during your flight. I generally hate sales pitches, but this one wasn't painful. They showed us our pictures and a sample of the video, but weren't pushy at all. The one thing that I didn't like and felt was tacky was the $5 parking fee. Since people are paying a MINIMUM of $250 per person for this experience I feel the helicopter company could provide us with a complimentary voucher. All in all, this was a great experience. If your budget allows for it you should splurge and treat yourself to this amazing journey.

Thank you for the wonderful and thorough review! Kirk is an excellent pilot and tour guide. As for the parking I totally agree but unfortunately it is part of the state parking policies (like parking at the airport). We pay monthly as well and it by individual car so cannot provide a voucher. This is for all companies at the heliport. I hope you have a wonderful time here in the islands!
