9
Dragon's Teeth
Dragon's Teeth is a good example of what can happen when forces of nature collide. As the lava from the West Maui Volcano poured into the ocean, fierce wind and waves forced it back and it cooled into a formation that resembles great black teeth. Makaluapuna Point, as it's also called, was created from one of the last lava flows on Maui. However, the lava is a little different from the rest of the lava on Maui, as it is much lighter, denser, and fine-grained.

There are two parts of this excursion that I really like first of all I’ll talk about Kyle the young man working in Kemos bike shop. He was friendly kind knowledgeable and patient. And very understanding. Then the idea of being out on these bikes which were a little heavy and we found out my dad who is a little older cannot tolerate. But riding around outside the electric bike was amazing. The bike had to be heavy enough so that you could tolerate the 20 mph speed is going alongside traffic. This made the bike ride exhilarating and fun and when you want to do paddling you absolutely could have I never found that to be necessary. I would recommend this for any adult pool here in Maui just the views and adventures along the way were amazing.

Yes! Electric bikes are the BEST way to explore Maui. Thank you for writing a review and recommending Boss Frog's electric bicycle rentals in Lahaina.

Nice experience & option other than a car to travel up coast line. Bikes are easy to use with minimal effort. Only complaints are bike seats are not very comfortable & better instructions could have been given vs the typed handout & 2 min verbal review on snorkeling spots. (Ie. review on larger map with guests, offer gps options, etc).Good for people who may know the area, but not so much for those that don’t. Missed several snorkeling areas with 3 adults attempting to locate areas. Lastly, bring a drink & snacks. Will save you time :)Ride back much more peaceful & scenic. Overall, decent experience.

The most memorable parts were riding on the highway white knuckled and high stress and anxiety. The website is very deceiving and the time was horrible. We only received a 10 refund for the terribly horrible waste of time and money. I urge everyone to choose another spot for their time.

Aloha, we are sorry to read this. We receive many reviews from people that love this experience. The scenery in Maui is incredible. It's possible electric bikes were not for you. Some people love it and there are numerous wonderful places to visit with an electric bike.
