9
Dragon's Teeth
Dragon's Teeth is a good example of what can happen when forces of nature collide. As the lava from the West Maui Volcano poured into the ocean, fierce wind and waves forced it back and it cooled into a formation that resembles great black teeth. Makaluapuna Point, as it's also called, was created from one of the last lava flows on Maui. However, the lava is a little different from the rest of the lava on Maui, as it is much lighter, denser, and fine-grained.

Most excellent way to tour the area on your own schedule and see the local towns and beaches! The snorkeling was beautiful and relaxing, but we didn't see any turtles. The bikes were easy to operate and the maps provided directions to suggested sites. You can decide if you want to go to some or all, and stay on the beaches as long as you like. No pressure to return the bikes by a certain time allowed for a wonderfully enjoyable day!

One of the best things I did while there! Just as fast as a moped without the stinking & loud exhaust. I only wish I had the bike for the entire day. Being a bike you can go anywhere a bike can go, but a motorized vehicle cannot. A definite MUST for spending the day around Lahaina & Front Street.
