The friendliness of the guides and staff. Our guide Jess and Kate were excellent. We were on a boat that were all had to paddle and Jess instructed us about the rapids and what we needed to do. He keep stressing team work and over emphasizing safety and preparing for the worst so no matter what we would be safe. He made it fun and I felt like it was a real adventure w pretty forgo rapids. Some of the biggest is some time. We hit it right w go water and a great team. Holly made a great lunch and was very friendly. Champ, was not our guide but I meet him on the way back. What a guy loaded w knowledge and information. All the staff on the trip appeared to be severing us for the pleasure of doing the experience and certainly not for the money. However I thought the guidance we got before the trip could have been better organized. The basics were listed but we were confused on how much cloths to bring and what we were going to expect. When we stopped the day before staff was nice but clueless until we passed a little about what we signed up fore. My expectations were not near what we got they were much much better.

So outside of the raft flipping on Skull rapids and being trapped under the raft and almost dying, it was ok. I personally would never do this again or recommend to anyone who thinks this will be casual fun. It is very dangerous. Luckily the staff were very well trained, knowledgeable and kind so that’s why I have to give at least 3 stars. If you’re a thrill seekers and like to live life on the edge, go for it. But if you’re like me and wanted a fun adventure to mix into your trip, think twice. Stick to level 1 or 2 rapids.
