Boat was great, the staff wonderful. Lunch was make you own sandwiches. Good, but not great. Was a little disappointed in the whale spotting. What we did see was just a brief glimpse and some blow holes followed by long periods of boredom. Not sure I would do again.

I opted for the hotel pickup and lunch along with the 1130 whale watching tour. Yes, we saw whales, nothing like the photo on the web site, but lots of spouts and a few partial body sightings. Cool, but not exhilarating and impossible to photograph. It was nice though, to be out on the water with great views of the harbor, including having to wait for a gigantic container ship leaving the harbor and some Coast Guard exercises. There was commentary about the places along the waterfront, and some rudimentary whale information. I'd skip the lunch which involves moving down to the lowest deck where you can't hear the commentary and standing in line to make a simple sandwich of cold cuts with a side of macaroni salad, potato chips, and a small chocolate chip cookie. Have a drink or two up top instead and eat before or after--this was like workplace cafeteria food. If I had it to do over, I think I'd pick a sunset cruise, maybe sailboat, with better food options, maybe some entertainment.

I barely seen the whale like glimpse of it far away and didn’t see nothing else. Felt sick and threw up most of the ride. The staff lady yelled at me from outside bathroom like 4 times to reminded me not throw up in sink, which was very rude. She didn’t offer me anything or show any concerns. She was more concern abt the bathroom.
