We took this tour and it was relaxing and the guide very friendly. I enjoyed the views and our tour guide would stop at picturesque spots and let up take photos. However, the suspension bridge was not worth the trip. We were there too long and there wasn't much to do there besides walk over the bridge once or twice, use the clean restrooms, look in the gift shop and stop in the cafe. We were done after 20 mins. I should have done a different experience while in Skagway.

Thanks for your honest review. It is always challenging with a group tour, even a small group tour, to satisfy everyone. Some guests want more time at the Suspension Bridge, some want less. I can assure you, if the entire group was ready to go, our guide would have left and done more sightseeing on the way back. The only way to be sure that you will get the exact amount of time you want at any particular destination is to secure a private charter. We run private charters regularly. They are more expensive but allow for total customization.

Included some wonderful Bison Chili at the bridge.... That was just a bonus... A trip for anyone. Pass by and through lovely lakes, streams and a few waterfalls.

Thanks for your comments regarding your Suspension bridge tour with our guide Mischa. Mischa was one of our top guides last summer and now has moved into management with Rainbow Glacier Adventures. He still gets out to guide now and then and you were lucky to get him on your tour. Only a few of our departures include the bison chili, and I'm glad you were able to enjoy it!

We took to trip to the suspension bridge. The views were beautiful and Rachel was informative of the area. Her enthusiasm and commentary was less on the return trip. Not sure if it was the participants or the fact that it was her second trip of the day. She take the group to the Yukon sign as an extra at the request of some of the Canadian's on board. We had a problem with our meeting times as our confirmation said the pick up was 12:15p the hers said 12:45p. When I call the office for assistance all the staff person could tell me was "the guide should be on the way, and that she was in a different city Haines" Bottom line was the actual tour was to start at 1:15 p so we wasted an hour due to inaccurate info on our conformation form. We recommend the trip for the beautiful views and bridge experience, but please verify you trip info prior to the day.

Thanks for your comments. Rachel is an experienced and highly qualified guide. She has a wealth of knowledge to share. I was happy to hear that Rachel was able to stop at the Yukon sign at the request of some guests on the tour. We try to give our guests the best experience possible, and if we can honor requests, we do. I am sorry to hear that there was some confusion with your tour start time. Our friendly staff in Haines are available by phone to help guests who are waiting for our guides to arrive and advise them on the best course of action to take.
