What To Expect

Skagway Alaska Downtown

Meet your guide, board the comfortable vehicle and enjoy a short tour of Skagway’s historic district before climbing steeply towards the Chilkoot Mountains.

British Columbia

The dramatic scenery of the White Pass summit soon surrounds you. This is a wonderland of impressive peaks, azure lakes and stunted forests. The pace is unhurried; you will have ample time to enjoy the view with stops at choice scenic locations.

Yukon Suspension Bridge

Past the summit visit the Yukon Suspension Bridge, where you can venture out onto the bridge to get stunning views of the turbulent waters of the Tutshi River below. Learn the about Gold Rush history and the natural history of the area. Walk along the boardwalk and immerse yourself in the miniature world of alpine wildflowers.

I am so glad we did the bus up, train back! The knowledge our guide shared was so amazing and we made picture stops! The Suspension Bridge was phenomenal and make sure to grab a bag of chips in the little Cafe! I wish I grabbed bags to bring back, Canadian made! The train ride BACK was exceptionally nice because we had learned on the mini bus about things we were passing. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 20! I'm going in June and already booked so I can take my cousin!! Go for it!

Great short but breathtaking tour. You get to see a beautiful part of the world in a slow and peaceful fashion. Would certainly recommend it if you like natural beauty.

Thanks for this review. The Summit and Yukon Suspension Bridge are located in a truly stunning area that is relatively close to Skagway. So we are able to immerse you in natural beauty in a fairly short amount of time (3 hours). This leaves you time to enjoy other aspects of Skagway and the surrounding area.

Nikki was an amazing guide! It was SO much better than taking the train. We stopped at lots of places, took amazing photos and had time to spend learning and exploring along the way.
