So cool! Taryn was our tour guide on the sled and Greyson was our guide around the grounds. Both were knowledgeable, friendly and fun! Holding the puppies was exciting for the adults and children in our family. I recommend this tour to everyone!

This was SO cool!!! The dogs were Great! The tour guides were knowledgeable. I would recommend this to anyone. I had small children in my group and they all had a blast. The adults asked lots of questions and the guides knew all the answers. So Much Fun!!!

This tour was a GEM of a find. Seward is such a fabulous city and unfortunately, many who come into Seward to start their cruise (as we did) don't take the time to actually spend time in Seward. We're so glad we came in early and gave Seward 3 1/2 days of time. On our AK cruise itinerary, Seward is actually one of the best ports!! There's so much to see and do ... and Seavey's Real Alaska tour is a great way to get a fantastic sampling of highlights because even though we had a few days in Seward, it wasn't a ton of time so we needed to work efficiently. I checked off a lot of what I call "quintessential Alaskan experiences" on this tour ... for example, an encounter with sled dogs!! The sled dog cart ride was scenic and a great introductory sled dog experience. Seavey's is an Ididarod dynasty family so you're really getting to meet some of the best of the best athletes in this sport. The path that the cart ride goes on is scenic, goes by rivers and snow-capped mountains - get those cameras ready! Another QAE (quintessential Alaskan experience) - an encounter with a glacier! On this tour, you get to go on the manageable yet thrilling hike to the foot of Exit glacier. The hike has a few rocky steep steps but will be one of the most manageable glacier hikes on an AK cruise itinerary. We have an 8 and 6 year old and even the 6 year old lasted most of the 1 hour hike, only asking to ride shouldertop for the last 15 minutes. Another QAE we got to experience on this tour - a visit to a salmon weir to see thousands of salmon swimming upstream for the season! That was so incredibly cool, it's really hard to describe. Have to experience it to know what it's like. Last but not least, we also got to see some AK wildlife on tour - a momma moose and her baby, multiple eagle sightings. This tour really has a bit of everything and if you only have 1 day in Seward, this tour is IT. Do it! Our tour guide was Alyssa and she was fabulous. Thx Alyssa for making your trek across 2 countries each spring so you could be in Seward when we were and take us on this fabulous tour!!
