Quête du zodiaque sauvage

Aperçu
Your adrenalin will be pumping when you captain a four- or six-passenger Zodiac, a rigid-hulled inflatable boat offering speed and agility. The adventure begins with a tour by van through historic downtown Ketchikan. Look out the windows as your scenic drive travels past totem poles, Saxman Native Village, and the beautiful coastline of the Tongass Narrows to the Beaver Falls Salmon Cannery. Upon arrival, breathe in the fresh air as you walk the mystical rainforest trail to the Zodiac. After a safety briefing, you’ll bundle up in rain gear, rubber boots and a life jacket, step inside the sturdy Zodiac and follow your guide out to the beautiful George Inlet Fjords. Soak up the pristine scenery, and marvel at the rich wildlife. After cruising for 90 minutes, you’ll return to the cannery for a complimentary flight of 49th state craft beers or sodas and a snack!

We booked this trip fully expecting to be cold and wet, but we really wanted to experience the area without a crowd. The team was prepared with all of the wet weather gear, but we ended up not needing it. Chris, our guide, did a great job of pointing out the wildlife and taking to great spots to see eagles, deer, and seals.

My husband and I had so much fun! This was a cruise excursion for us, and it was great! Our guide, Chris, was very knowledgeable about the area and taught us a lot about Ketchikan. He was super! We got to see a lot of bald eagles and wonderful views from our Zodiak. The seals weren’t out, but we did get to see deer. 10/10

Where do I begin? It was a beautiful day to be on the water! Such an awesome experience to captain our own vessel. Matt and Ryan were so accommodating to our needs; my brother even had the opportunity to propose in front of Mahoney Falls!!! We saw eagles and a deer swimming across the inlet as well. 11/10 would recommend this excursion!
