We are family owned and operated as well as locally owned and operated. We are constantly in touch with tour operators to know exactly where the best places to see local wildlife. We do not GUARANTEE Whales or wildlife on our tours but, this is our hometown, we know our waters, you can feel confident traveling with us. Our vessel has indoor seating and outdoor covered seating space. You can walk all around on the deck. We offer a complimentary nonalcoholic beverage service, and light snacks. We have a washroom facility onboard. We look forward to meeting you and showing you the best wildlife viewing opportunities here in Ketchikan. Our vessel is Wheelchair accessible! Tour is usually 2 to 2.5 hours in duration Please understand we do not Guarantee Whales or offer refunds for not seeing them but we will try our best to keep our 90% sighting rate for this season going!!!

I always try to support small businesses so I purposely looked for alternate excursions outside of the "Cruiseline" choices. Jessie and Evan were outstanding guide and Captain. Very informative and the small boat made it a very intimate and personal experience. I'd do it again!!!

Didn't really see much - a few seals, bald eagles. No whales. It rained and it didn't seem like there was enough room for everyone. The guides were very welcoming but felt over sold. Had snacks and drinks for the trip and rain gear as it started to pour and there wasn't enough room for everyone to sit under cover. Seemed a bit pricey for what we saw.

Yes you were unfortunate on whales this day. The vessel has inside seating and outside seating for 22. You could have sat in the galley as no one was sitting in it and there are 10 seats available in side. The after deck has a full cover that can seat 12 so we don’t understand where the seating issue would be. As for the rain, we do provide rain gear and encourage our guests to ware them if they come unprepared for the rain. Half the guests on board were happy to experience the light sprinkle we finally got after almost two weeks of fantastic sunny weather. I’m am so glad you enjoyed the free snacks, hot coffee and the cold beverages. We do try our best to get whales on our tours. We do state it is a Whale Quest and we do state we do not guarantee whales. As you can hopefully understand about wildlife.. they are wild and untamed or trained to stay in one location. But please if you are in Ketchikan in the future, let us try again. Also we do encourage guests to review and we just wish the thousands of happy ones did a review. Not just the ones that feel the need to give a unfair or unreasonable one.

An awesome adventure. Orca whales, humpback whales, eagles and seals. We saw them all. Couldn’t imagine a better excursion in Ketchikan! Captain Jesse and Kaylee made this excursion special.
