We are family owned and operated as well as locally owned and operated. We are constantly in touch with tour operators to know exactly where the best places to see local wildlife. We do not GUARANTEE Whales or wildlife on our tours but, this is our hometown, we know our waters, you can feel confident traveling with us. Our vessel has indoor seating and outdoor covered seating space. You can walk all around on the deck. We offer a complimentary nonalcoholic beverage service, and light snacks. We have a washroom facility onboard. We look forward to meeting you and showing you the best wildlife viewing opportunities here in Ketchikan. Our vessel is Wheelchair accessible! Tour is usually 2 to 2.5 hours in duration Please understand we do not Guarantee Whales or offer refunds for not seeing them but we will try our best to keep our 90% sighting rate for this season going!!!

Stern section of boat had plastic shields that blocked wind/rain but also blocked the views. Limited viewing areas for watching whales. Crew seemed in a hurry to get back to port for their next cruise. Junk food for snacks great for kids but not adults.

Limited Viewing? Plastic side covers? Yucky snacks? Oh my!! The side covers are added to give our guests a bit of protection from rain and wind, if I didn’t have them then you would complain about the lack of them. Please tell me you got up and walked around away from the aft deck! There’s ample space on both sides of the cabin and in the bow area also in the galley/cabin to view from. If you expected the captain to maneuver the boat around whales and other wildlife you encountered just so you didn’t have to get up from your seat you have to be kidding??!! We saw multiple Humpback Whales, Sealions, seals, eagles and eagle nests on your tour. It was an amazing sunny and absolutely beautiful day on the water! No wind and not a drop of rain! On the tour being in a hurry, we do and always have had tour timelines and deadlines we have to follow to get not just you but other guests back to town so no one misses ship departures or other planned excursions or events. We ended up being on this tour almost three hours.. we usually do a 2 to 2.5 hour tour. You are fortunate to have gotten an extended tour just so you could enjoy the wildlife and views a bit longer. Now let’s get to the horrible free snacks. We are not a deli/diner or restaurant. We provide an assortment of free chips and prepackaged pastries. If you don’t like them don’t eat them. We also provide free hot fresh coffee, creamers, sodas, bottled water, teas and hot chocolate to drink if you or anyone is thirsty. I know you just got off a fancy cruise ship with many dining and enjoyable foods to choose from and staff that caters at your ever whim. I sure hope you treat them better than you treats our staff as they asked if you needed drinks or binoculars or a blanket in case you were a bit chilly or when they offered to take your trash so you didn’t have to get up from your precious seat. I spoke to the crew and they don’t understand how you could be so disappointed after having such an amazing wildlife and whale watching tour. I just told them that we can’t please everyone. Even if we get whales, offer free snacks and cater to each guest like they are family, you always encounter someone you can’t please no matter what. Next time you go on a tour you should just bring your own snacks so you aren’t offended by what others give for free. Best of luck to you and your petty ways.

Had an amazing time! Crew was very accommodating and took us to very cool spots on the water. Saw seals, whales, eagles, and more! Highly recommend.

Excellent whale-watching and nature tour! Captain Jesse took us to see a humpback whale, a bald eagles’ nest with fledglings inside, an island covered with seals, and we even saw a bear. We had an amazing time
