This is a great walking wine tour for both the wine loving aficionados and novices alike. Our guide, Toby was both personable and very knowledgeable about wines, their flavors and the terroir that determined the grapes that are growing in the area, complete with maps. Each local tasting room we went to had a unique flair and flavor. In addition to the wines, we were treated to the local history of the area when we passed by various spots as we went traveled to each tasting room. Toby is very popular, almost like the unofficial mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Wow, Toby was amazing—what a delightful, fun tour. I have been going to Carmel since 1970 and thought I knew everything about the area. Toby gave us a whole new perspective of Carmel by the Sea. I found a lot of new restaurants and shops I will be visiting on my next visit.

Wow ! What a great experience! The Wine Tasting and Walking Tour was fabulous and so was our guide , Toby . He was a wealth of knowledge and was just delightful to be with ! Would HIGHLY recommend it ! N
