I treated my son to the Ye Olde Tavern Tour for his 21st birthday. The tour guide is extremely knowledgeable about revolutionary Boston. We learned SO much! You walk around parts of the Freedom Trail and stop in three historic pubs for beer or cider sampling. The first pub was overly crowded, so it would be nice if the tour operator could work out a spot for the tour instead of trying to "belly up to the bar". The other two set aside a space for our group which made it much easier to hear. Even though it was somewhat of a blustery day it was lots of fun and would highly recommend!

Brooke was an excellent guide. She is friendly and very knowledgeable. I spent my birthday in Boston and doing this tour was the icing on the cake. The three taverns we visited were all different from each other and the beer selection was too. I highly recommend this tour.

Nina was an awesome tour guide on this fun tour. She's obviously a history buff (getting her doctorate and teaches). She conducted the tour as she told the story of the beginning of the Revolutionary War. The 3 bar stops were fun and offered a nice variety of beers. One of the stops was a very modernized bar at the sight of an old historic bar so this was a little disappointing. Don't know why the owners didn't keep the original atmosphere as much as possible. I would highly recommend this tour with Nina as your guide.
