The experience of watching 40 foot (12 meter) whales from a 24 foot (7 meter) Zodiac raft is something you'll never forget! Following Hawaiian Marine Park laws of stopping at least 100 yards (90 meters) away from these magnificent animals, you get a close up look at the migrating humpback whales. It is not uncommon for them to be curious about the raft and come right under the boat!

Our guide was very very knowledgeable about the area and the habits of the whales. The zodiac boat was great, as I do get sick and I did not feel any symptoms. We went to areas that were not common to most boats and saw some amazing whales. We had two bull whales fighting, a couple of breaches and even a school of dolphins. I would highly recommend this tour!!

This was a fantastic trip. We saw whales...lots of whales! Our guide was Captain Ron and he was excellent. He made the trip fun, exciting, and even educational. We would do it again.

We went out on the morning raft adventure and really we can’t say enough good things about it. Right out of Kailua Bay we spotted a humpback with her calf which we hung out and watched for about half an hour. We also spotted dolphins on our way to (and back from) the snorkel site. I was a bit worried about snorkeling right away in the morning, but the weather conditions were excellent and the water was warm. We had never snorkeled before, but with a little help from the guides, my daughter, wife, and I were exploring the reef with ease. Collin and Budha were awesome guides who were fun, full of information, and know the ocean. The zodiac rafts are perfect for zipping around the shore. Kealakekua Bay was ideal. The only issue we ran into was at check-in: they were hosting a day trip for a cruise ship the day we visited and were really geared up for that, leaving us unsure we were in the right place at first. The rest of the adventure more than made up for it.
