The experience of watching 40 foot (12 meter) whales from a 24 foot (7 meter) Zodiac raft is something you'll never forget! Following Hawaiian Marine Park laws of stopping at least 100 yards (90 meters) away from these magnificent animals, you get a close up look at the migrating humpback whales. It is not uncommon for them to be curious about the raft and come right under the boat!

Huge shout out to Captain Rick and Davonte. Our excursion was more than I expected. The number of whales we saw breaching was incredible. The ride was a little challenging, however, with only 16 passengers we were all able to see . I would highly recommend this to others.

Our small raft sizes makes for a personal touch on an adventure, everyone really does get a front row seat. We love Rick and Devante too, they make a great pairing out on the water, as they add professionalism and fun. Thank you for coming out with us.

We really enjoyed our trip! Our guide was very knowledgeable! We were able to see a male, a momma with her baby and our raft ride was another great aspect of our entire experience!

Our zodiacs can be an adventure in them selves but adding a whale or two can make it the best 3 hours out on the water. So happy that we were able to show you a great whale watch during your time on Kona.

This tour was amazing, they searched and found lots of Whale's. Were saw groups of males, females & their calf’s it was so spectacular. We also can across a female playing and putting on the most amazing display. Lots of dolphins and there leaping and spinning was awesome to watch. Pulling into the dock we saw 2 eagle rays mating ( what a site to see) that was the icing on the cake to an amazing day of whale watching. The knowledge shared by Shae was enlightening and enhanced the experience. Very good boat etiquette and you can see how much they love the whales and advocate there preservation. Highly recommend this trip to all. I can’t say enough about Captain Zodiac. Thank you and 5 Star rating
