My son (18) and I rode tandem on this jet ski tour. Previous to this we both had minimal experience with jet skis on fresh water lakes. We really lucked out and got a one-on-one tour with our guide Brent, who was amazing. He was super nice, helpful and patient while we got our jet ski legs under us in the beginning. He showed us some great sites and enjoyed some good conversation along the way. We left the marina and just instantly put the hammer down cruising south across the bay, under the causeway, past the Isla Blanca point (stopped to view our first pod of dolphins), and then East toward the South Padre jetties. We looped back across Brazos Santiago Pass (where we saw more dolphins behind the giant dredging boat) & then through the Brownsville ship channel, around Clark Island and just into South Bay Pass for a look at SpaceX (kept us outside their exclusion zone). Cool view. Continued down the channel, turning around Bird island (full of a gazillion birds), NNW alongside Long Island and into old Port Isabel, where Brent pointed out a few homes and businesses of interest, and the old swing bridge (still in operation). We crossed under SH100 near Bridge St, then popped out at North Shore Dr continuing East around the corner to view the Port Isabel lighthouse. We were doing great on time so we again blasted full-throttle across the bay to some shallows to the NW of the marina where the water was crystal clear and maybe 4ft deep. With our extra time we had a little playtime with the jet ski then cruised back into port. Fantastic 1.5 hour excursion. Great mix of speed, sights of interest, commentary, and fun. Would HIGHLY recommend this tour and would honestly do it again. Being one-on-one we had a lot of freedom to go all out. I would consider one of their other great excursions for anyone that is not too adventurous or for anyone with young kids as it can be bumpy and quite fast. But if you’re comfortable on a wicked fast jet ski in open choppy water, then this IS the tour for you. 10/10! +Brent is the man! Great tour.
