My 15 and 13 year olds wanted to try surfing and had zero experience. Trevor was patient, funny and encouraging and the kids had a great time and came back after the 2 hours talking my ear off about everything they experienced. We decided to book a second lesson for them with Shawn. The kids loved him as well! He built in what they had already learned and added some new skills/techniques to work on and the kids really improved and got some good waves. It was an awesome experience and the 2 hour lesson gave them time to catch extra waves and build on their technique! Thanks Trevor and Shawn! Paige and Micah had an awesome time!

We had a semi private lesson with 3 of us (all from our family). We were all complete beginners and all stood up and rode waves (including turning!) by the end of the lesson. Our teacher was amazing- very clear and encouraging. As 3 adults I was worried having a lesson may be a bit embarrassing, but we were made to feel instantly comfortable with our teachers relaxed, humorous personality. The waves in Waikiki beach are perfect for beginners- they last ages so you can take your time in standing up and enjoy it! We saw many sea turtles right next to our boards, as well as dolphins in the distance! The photo package was worth it- they really captured the fun. They leant us some long sleeved rash vests (definitely use them to prevent rubbing on your arms!) which were clean and in good condition. They also provide a secure locked storage box for any valuables you bring with you. Don't consider anyone else if you want to try surfing on a world famous beach!

The lesson was for my two daughters, ages 11 and 9, and they were beyond excited by how it went, and therefore, I will sing Trevor and Shawn's praises all day long! The girls had a phenomenal experience and we could not have been happier with how kind, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and motivating their coaches were. Thank you all so much!
