We thought Gone Surfing were amazing. It was easy to book and then they were really patient when we had to cancel one person then rebook the rest of us and dealt with it all super quickly, refunding the money for the cancellation instantly. On the day the guys were easy to find following the instructions (we walked from the Hilton). The actual lesson was great. We were quite nervous but you start practising on the beach then head out. Shawn was so supportive and patient especially when my brother and his girlfriend got the hang of it more quickly than me. Shawn was also really good company. We chatted about the island and things to do. We also paid for the photographer and got some great photos. Overall if I’m lucky enough to go back to Hawaii I would book again in a heart beat and definitely recommend the company.

I took my 3 kids on a semi-private group lesson and this was a great way to go. Marshall and JoJo were terrific instructors and very patient and positive. We all got up on our boards at least a few times and the photographer took some outstanding shots. I would definitely recommend this as a must do activity in Waikiki.
