We did the combo with the 2 hour morning rafting trip and the silverton train ride in the afternoon. Our raft guide, Bell, was the best. The water was high and fast. Really good white water, she guided expertly. Everyone had a blast, even our 75 year old grandmother. It was the most memorial part of our week long Colorado vacation.

Was a little concerned at first about the safety of the rafting trip with our two kids, ages 9 and 6. The river was flowing at a high rate and we weren’t sure what we were getting into. Once we got started I was no longer concerned. I felt our guide John had complete control of the raft (even with us as inexperienced rafters) and kept the kids entertained with silly jokes. A great experience for us as a family, would 100% do it again. Bring river shoes, a waterproof jacket (rent one from the company) and prepare to get wet.

Carli was our guide for our rafting trip yesterday. She guided us down the river and we all stayed in the boat but got a bit wet. We had lots of laughs and lots of fun. We would definitely do this again!
