Unique to the Big Island of Hawaii, over a dozen species of whales can be found on the Kona Coast year-round! Join us as we explore the offshore in search of pilot whales, false killer whales, whale sharks, spinner dolphins, sperm whales, and more!

Our Hawaiian Adventures crew is passionate about whales, and we pride ourselves on being the whale experts of the Big Island. The ocean provides new opportunities on every tour, so trust the guides who do this every day! Our crew works hard to show you the most wildlife on every trip, and we aim to leave you with a new appreciation for Kona’s whales, wildlife, and vibrant ecosystem. Great whale watching experience! We saw three humpbacks, and a pod of spinner dolphins. The guides were knowledgeable, the boat was very comfortable with tons of great viewing locations, and we were very pleased with this trip!

We had a great time on this tour. The boat has only a few passengers, making the experience more personal. Both guides, Kyle and Olivia were extremly knowledgeable and friendly, which was very appreciated by all. They made sure everyone was included. The went the extra mile to search for best ways for us to see whales and we did ! One swam just behind our boat, it was great! We also watched spinning dolphins, so many of them, almost like they wanted to put on a show for us. Both Kyle and Olivia took the time to describe to all of us what was happening, telling us more about these wonderful creatures, making this experience unforgettable for all of us.
