Even though it was a holiday week, our party of 5 was the only group on the tour. Our guide, Brandon, was a lot of fun. He took us partly on paved bike paths and then “off-road.” We were given a choice of difficulty and even though none of us had ever been mountain biking before, we chose the more difficult trail, and it was not overly challenging and a lot of fun. It was about 12 miles total of biking. The scenery is breathtaking. The e-bikes were easy to use and handled the terrain really well. There were different levels of biking ability on the trip, and the e-bikes made it easy for the less experienced to keep up with the more proficient cylists. We all agreed it was a great time, and we would do it again. Our only very minor complaint is we would have liked to stop one or two times just to have the opportunity to take some photos of the amazing wilderness of the Sonoran Desert.
