Jim was fantastic! He really made the battle come alive in such a sad place. We learned more from him than we ever did in school. Well done!

I liked the tour itself but the tour guide, John, was very biased. Seemed to me that he was a southern boy. He also made some very off color jokes that were not politically appropriate or appreciated.

Hello Carol, We apologize that you did not enjoy the tour. The guides try to incorporate a bit of levity to an otherwise tragic event in American History when giving the tour. To be able to tell the full story of the battle they must touch on the soldiers, causes and strategies of both the Union and Confederate Army’s to help visitors understand the whole story. Each guide has their own methods of delivering the required content. We assure you that if you return you will have the opportunity to hear another perspective that may align more closely with your expectations.

The women that guided the tour were great. Made the experience very enjoyable and entertaining. A lot of information but liked the way it was presented and got the group involved.
