Przegląd
The Bender family continues a 50 year tradition of traveling in open air style safari vehicles north of Corolla along the ocean and sand dunes on a 2 hour, small group, excursion sharing history and ecology along the way. We stop for several photo opportunities and points of interests along the way, as well including private access to the Wild Horse Conservation Area. This tour also includes a professional and knowledgeable horse guide to educate you on what you are seeing. Choose from one of 3 departure times when you book.

The maximum will be TWELVE (12) people.

If you have more than 12 people please call us directly for accommodations.

We will NOT be able to allow any children UNDER 45 POUNDS on the tour.

  • We are not responsible if you get stuck in traffic. Being stuck in traffic does not warrant a refund. Traffic is common. Please allow time to arrive 30 minutes prior to the time of your tour.
  • No children under 40 pounds can come on the tour whatsoever.
  • Adult pricing applies to all travelers 13 years of age and older.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Dress code is casual.
  • Dogs have been asked to not be brought on tour by the Corolla Wild Horse Fund. Registered Service Animals only.
  • Any changes or amendments to bookings, including number of persons, date, time, or discounts must be made through Viator. Corolla outback adventures cannot amend reservations without a request from traveler made to Viator.

Overall it was good, not great. A little disappointed to find the horses had to mingle in with million $ homes all around them. Was told there are 116 currently and we saw maybe 12-15, they were just hanging out in peoples yards or in fields and eating. Our tour guide was amazing and had a bunch of knowledge. The actual ride itself was ok- it was unusually cold and windy and the bumps along the sand roads and beach were hysterical. Went with husband and elderly parents (mom wanted to see those horses since she was a little girl) and it’s a good thing we were buckled in the seats and had blankets! Loved the group we had, another couple was along too and we had laughs and got good photos. Made memories.

Although it was a pretty cold day, we had a great time and we've seen quite a good amount of horses. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and we eally enjoyed our tour. But, next time we go back will be in the summer. :)

The guide was great and told us a lot about the local area in addition to the wild horses. The tour started out in a neighborhood on the dunes with horses standing around the houses and ended in a more rural area. Based on the pictures, I was expecting the whole tour to be in a rural area but it worked out ok as we got to see some pretty interesting homes.
