The tour itself was fine - the weather was less than agreeable, but we still had an enjoyable sail. Captain Sal was great and really made the trip. He was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor.
The only complaint I had was that there were issues with the company's two boats that were advertised and at the last minute we were switched to a very old boat they were able to find. We found this out when we arrived at the alternate marina needed because of the boat change. We are not fancy people, so it was fine - but when it is advertised as "Sail on a restored luxury vessel with high-end finishes" and "Tasty selection of cheese, salami, and crackers served onboard", then presented with a somewhat dilapidated boat with a basket of Costco snacks, that doesn't hit the mark.
I called the next day to discuss and gave the operator a couple of months to provide some discount for the changed description, since I don't feel it was appropriate to charge for the luxury version of the itinerary and not deliver.
Again, the sail itself was worthwhile and even with the poor weather was a good time - just be careful that you are getting the tour described and confirm that before arriving at the marina. From other reviews, it does not seem this is a standard practice, but worth confirming if you are to pay full price for the "high end yacht".
