Very punctual pick up, but we was a little late, so Thank you so much Antoine for the patience 🙏 Antoine was our driver and a guide in 2 languages (French and English), and it was great as I speak both. He was very caring and as a positive energy! Antoine gave us a useful background info about the Everglades park and the alligators. In the end of the tour he took us a picture with the baby alligator. During the airboat ride we saw 3 alligators, they are sooo cute and not scaring at all. The place must seen if you are in Miami :)

Sitting in the middle was not fun. Had to look through dirty window up front that you couldn’t see through. Captain was encouraging and hopeful we’d see gators but only saw 2. Gator show after was ok. It would have been nicer to be in an open topped airboat rather than one with metal low roof snd with the window shield upfront. Airboats were not spaced out so felt crowded and rushed to keep moving. Motor boats in water deterred gators. The gentleman who picked us up at the holiday inn was very attentive and helpful as well as interesting. That shuttle can was completely full.

We are glad that the ride to the park was a pleasant and interesting one. It is important to know that we don’t run the park. This is a shared tour, and when it’s a busy time with high volume of tourists, it is more crowded with all the obvious consequences. From your description it looks like you needed a private tour, private transportation and private boat. But it will be much more expensive.

The alligators sightings were the highlight for us. The educational piece was right up there also when the handler at the park described not feeding the alligators.
