3 of us went on the 4 Hour Makena Whale Watch Kayak & Snorkel Tour. Griff was our guide and was one of the best I’ve ever had. We’ve been kayaking for many years and had been on a whale watch - but thought it would be cool to see them from the water. Truth be told - our expectations were low. Not only did we see whales - we saw dolphins and had a great time. We learned a lot from Griff who could not be in a better job for his skills. He is incredibly welcoming and friendly. I appreciate that he went through all the covid precautions so everyone was on the same page. The tour was fun and informative. We had a great group and learned so much about the history of Hawaii as well as the wildlife. There were people who had never kayaked on our trip and you’d never know it. Griff had a way of helping anyone who needed it. Whether it was with their kayaking technique or getting back into the kayak from snorkeling - he was all over it. Great trip and a great guide! Thank you Griff!

Griff was an amazing kayaking guide. Not only did he make sure we got to see some whales (got the full tail flip and all), but even if we hadn't lucked out, his knowledge of Hawaiian history is deep and his respect for the culture of this beautiful island and its environment is so apparent. He also was so engaged with our group and kept us all safe and happy. Couldn't have had a better trip. It was a highlight.

We had an amazing experience. Griff shines with his professionality and knowledge abt the area, and also he’s so kind and thoughtful. We have 8-9 people in total and we love it since sometimes the tour have so many people. If you want to have a trip that can have your own pace, this tour would be for you.
