JeanBarakah and his team will make sure you have the best day possible. From the moment I called to inquire about the Private Custom Kayak Tour through Boomkanki everyone was so kind and welcoming. JeanBarakah texted to let me know exactly where to park and to tell me spots were available in the lot I was driving to. Once we arrived our tour guide Justin told us what options he felt were best for the day and then let us decide how to spend our time on the water. Justin was informative and made us feel comfortable and welcome. He even gave us great local food recommendations for after our tour. Our kayaks sat two people and were easy to operate. My 15 year old son steered ours with ease. We were able to snorkel, see whales up close and fish from our kayaks. If we ever make it back to Maui we will only book with Boomkanki. Being in kayaks was the best way to experience the waters of maui.

This was the second time that we booked this excursion for our family. Our kids are 11,13,15 and 18 and they ALL had a blast. We had the best time! Caught tons of fish, lots of good views, we saw a giant turtle and whales. The kayak was so easy to maneuver! we love the pedals vs the paddle!! Thank you La for another amazing time. See you soon, we want to do the fishing trip next!!

This was the perfect outfit for my family and me. The trip was tailored specifically for us. La and Cody did a great job moving us around to find wildlife and telling us interesting stories about Maui. I always go into these types of trips knowing that there is a bit of uncertainty— it is nature, after all. We were fortunate to see whales, dolphins, and sea turtles. My daughter caught an octopus, the rest of us all caught something, from Mackerel to Red Snapper (the big fish weren’t with us that day but that was ok.). Seeing a whale breach was the highlight of the day for us. My husband and son saw sea turtles while we were snorkeling. The whole experience was super laid back and relaxing. Would definitely recommend!
