A local fisherman, Capt. James specializes in targeting Floridian-famous fish such as Snook, Redfish, and the mighty “Silver King” (Tarpon) as well as other species like, snapper, grouper and trout.

Capt. James was born and raised on the west coast of Florida, and has been fishing the waters of Sarasota, Bradenton, and Tampa Bay for over 15 years. He’s passionate about inshore fishing, and loves nothing more than sharing this passion with other anglers. No matter your age or skill level, he’ll help you discover your love for fishing Florida’s shallows!

Our family enjoyed a fantastic fishing adventure with Capt. James. He was very patient, upbeat and energetic with our family, including our 7 and 11 year old. Lots of smiles. Every one caught some fish (except me - how is that fair? Ha!). Did I mention the manatee? We are already looking forward to returning next summer and going on another adventure. Thanks, Capt. James!

Captain James Gibson is a chilled dude, maybe 25 , ex soccer player, who loves to fish, works hard, had a cooler full of waters on ice, and a live well full of bait. We caught 24 fish, 7 species, 1-5pm, was awesome. Scale of 1-10? 11
