We had a ton of fun at the zip line experience. The views are stunning, and the staff is super fun. I've never been zip lining before, but I would absolutely go again provided the staff were as laid back, yet conscientious as our crew. Unfortunately, I was coming into line 4 super hot, and ended up smacking my (helmet-clad) head onto the hardware. Not much the crew could do about that, as gravity is gravity. They did check in on my periodically afterwards. If they really wanted to win me over, they could have offered me a cookie after my ordeal, but I might have been a bit over-emotional...
for anyone considering this, know that it is not the lowest risk activity. Helmets are supplied, and they are critical. Had I not worn a helmet, I'd likely be concussing right now. I did fill out paperwork afterwards, so I appreciate their focus on safety.
Overall, a superfun experience I would recommend to those willing to recognize the inherent risk of Ziplining.
i loved that they encouraged going upside down. As a mother of teenagers (which makes me way older than I'd like to be), I was able to get upside down on a number of lines, and it was thrilling.
