We came out dead silent after the audio tour in this museum. We had chosen the English audio tour and Robert de Niro tells the story. There is an explanation for each object in the museum. The Memorial wall with all the photos of the dead victims is hugely impressive; now numbers get a face and that really comes in. The wreckage of the fire engine that was first on the scene also impresses. Outside the museum are the 2 baths where the twin towers stood. With the names of all the victims on the edges. Again to keep quiet.
