The wait to get in was over an hour! And the museum was free today!! Tried to reach Viator Booking Agent and no response!!

It took me less than an hour to go through the entire museum and so it felt like I paid $25 for less than a movies worth of entertainment. I'd think Hollywood should have been able to provide more than that of all things if they were really trying. Basically felt like I'd get more value for my dollar going to Universal Studio and that the museum was a higher-brow tourist trap museum where you pay $20 and get to see a few knick knacks they've collected and exhibit items that they managed to convince a company, individual, or foundation to give them to display and didn't really put a lot of thought into it. Their cyberpunk exhibit was basically just two small rooms and a few props and disappointed me quite a bit. The only things to spend real time around were just some projectors playing clips; there wasn't really much content behind them. I'm used to going to museums like the Carlsberg Glyptoteket, the Oslo Nasjonalmuseet, Danish National Museum, the British Museum, London's WB studio tour (Harry Potter) and so on. All places you can spend 2-6 hours easily. Hollywood can do better. If this is all they can put on for their big museum when Harry Potter alone can keep me fully enthralled for six hours there's something wrong here.

What a fun museum with exhibits from the early days of movies to cyber modern film technology explained. I loved seeing the piano from CASABLANCA and Dorothy's red shoes from the Wizard of Oz. The PIXAR displays are great and a film montage of the history of the Oscars is really fantastic. This is an easy excellent museum and worth your time.
