My brother and I took the cruise on May 1st, 2020, in perfect weather. We had the maximum passenger load of six, and there was plenty of room. There is open seating in the vicinity of the wheel, a small cabin (that went unused during the trip except to get to the head), and seating on the deck up front under the jib. A group of four could be comfortable in either seating area.
Captain Jim is friendly, laid back, and knows the harbor in terms of history and architecture in addition to his complete maritime knowledge. It's an easygoing cruise, so no need to hang on for dear life or worry about sea spray. We went out to within sight of the Atlantic, but the whitecaps out there were more than the Captain wanted to get into that day.
Billed as a 2-hour cruise, ours went about 2:30, which was great. Highly recommended for a low-stress outdoor event.
