Matanuska Glacier is a beautiful world of pure white. The glaciers are constantly moving, creating an ever-evolving landscape. It is well worth a visit! It takes about two and a half hours from downtown Anchorage to the glacier. Director Wang is very nice and takes good care of the guests along the way. The car is also very comfortable. The glacier tour guide explains in detail and is fully equipped and safe.
