We had a rip-roarin' good time on the Bitter Minnesota tour. Being from Columbus, Ohio, we were excited to see what the Twin Cities local breweries had to offer. Not only were the beers and ciders that we sampled outstanding (my picks were Fair State's sour beer, Indeed's Sweet Yamma Jamma, and Sociable Cider Werks' Freewheeler), we learned a lot about the brewing process along the way, including a personal tour by one of the head brewmasters.
Our Bitter Minnesota tour guide Eric was very knowledgeable and excited to share about the local brewing community, as well as friendly and personable, making it easy to connect with others on the tour. At the first of three stops, we got to know the other riders over a pint and tour of Fair State Brewing Cooperative. At the second stop, Indeed Brewery, we got into a friendly game of shuffleboard. By the third stop at Sociable Cider Werks, we were sitting around a table together laughing and sharing stories.
Bitter Minnesota made it so enjoyable to get silly together and just enjoy the ride. I would absolutely recommend Bitter Minnesota for an outing among friends, a get-together with family, a party with co-workers, and any group that would like to have a fun time together. Highly recommended!
